70x7 Stories

Songs on Moon's Tunes are based on my family. And I remember reading once that Peter asked the Lord, "How oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him?" Upon reading this, I immediately empathized with Peter’s frustration. Peter was maybe hoping for an easy way to write off his crazy family, guilt free. The Lord's response must have been disheartening, "I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven."

Many claim this is a figure of speech meaning eternal forgiveness, but I'm motivated to take it literally and be unburdened from this commandment once and for all. So join me as I chronicle my attempts to forgive my family for everything they have done to me over the past 3 1/2 decades. It's going to be fun... See All Stories >>

Finding Country

I've run the same 4 mile path over 100 times. I used to track my runs and work to get faster. Now I find I enjoy the 4 mile run more when I slow down and take in the scenery. With these photos I realize I don't need to photograph the world. There are amazing things to see even when running the same path over and over. I just have to look for it. And even though I live just outside of Denver, these photos are my way of finding country wherever I am.
